This is the handoff file. Whichever device you pick up — laptop VS Code or iPhone Safari — this is the first thing to read and the last thing to update.

Where I left off

Syllabus imported from the original iPhone chat artifact and split into modules/00–modules/06. Nothing studied yet. Module 0 is open and has two deliverables, neither started:

1. Set up both dev environments deliberately (VS Code + Claude, and Antigravity), noting what each is good at.
2. Write the one-page “what makes code good beyond ‘it works’?” answer as notes/00-what-makes-code-good.md.

Next up

Start Module 0. It’s the shortest module (½ week) and the milestone is a piece of writing, not code — a good one to do on the phone.

Then Module 1, which produces both design docs and the first ADR. That’s the real start of the work.

Open questions

• FeeForge vs. the fee app that already exists. Module 4’s Project B is a proposal/fee web app — and there’s already a spec’d fee-development app under C:\Analysis\AI\Fees with a real source workbook behind it. Decide before Module 1: build FeeForge clean as a teaching exercise, or use the course to build the real thing properly. Building the real one raises the stakes (and the value) but makes it harder to take shortcuts for pedagogy’s sake.
• Antigravity’s rules-file equivalent (Module 4) — confirm the filename and format when we get there.
